As CEO and a Co-founder of EPIC World, and Managing Partner at Elevar Equity, Jyotsna is reshaping the way enduring companies are built to serve Entrepreneurial Households. Her journey began with early-life experiences witnessing the resilience and aspirations of Entrepreneurial Households in India. These moments inspired a personal vision–a transformative thesis for accelerating the momentum of these communities from the ground up. She leads the EPIC World team in achieving this vision. 

With over two decades of expertise in business and finance, Jyotsna balances sharp commercial acumen with deep empathy, enabling her to identify and scale unique business models that drive real impact. At Elevar Equity, she built a high-performing investment practice known for spotting early opportunities in critical sectors like agri, finance, and health. Her approach to investing continues to set new benchmarks for inclusive business models within the impact industry. 

Jyotsna’s leadership style is a seamless blend of strategic clarity and a commitment to excellence. Guided by her philosophy of fostering trust through honest, straightforward conversations, she invests in people and empowers them to achieve both personal and collective success. 

Before her work with Elevar, Jytosna held key leadership roles at HSBC, where she collaborated closely with the bank’s India leadership team across business and finance. She holds a Commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, and the prestigious Chartered FInancial Analyst® designation.
